Chapter- Toombs County High School
To kick off a year of service, the Toombs County High School FCCLA chapter organized a Supplies Donation Drive at the beginning of the school year, benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Savannah and Macon, Georgia. Partnering with schools across our district, we created a friendly competition to see which school could collect the most items. The winning school was rewarded with a popsicle party, sponsored by our FCCLA chapter.
Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of students and families, we raised over $1,000 worth of essential supplies to donate between the two Ronald McDonald House locations. A few dedicated FCCLA members spent a Saturday delivering the collected items, personally witnessing the impact our contributions will have on families in need. This effort marks the start of many service projects planned for the year as we strive to make a difference in our community.
