Perry High Officers Attend Local Training

Writer: VP of Public RelationsVP of Public Relations

Chapter: Perry High School

Perry High FCCLA chapter officers participated in a local officer training day with their advisers. The team traveled to Columbus Georgia to begin their day. Officers enjoyed a delicious lunch together at Red Robin (yummm). Following lunch the officer team headed over to Exodus Escape Rooms. There they participated in an escape room where they had to use their communication, leadership, and teamwork skills to successfully break out of their themed room. They conquered the challenge together with 8 minutes to spare! Officers then scoped out the location of the new state meeting so that they could form a plan for the upcoming state leadership conference. The day ended back at their school in the FCS room where they discussed the highs and lows of the day as well as engaged in other adviser planned personality assessments to learn each other's strengths and weaknesses to better serve one another. This local training day was a huge success as these chapter officers feel more bonded together as a single unit and more equipped to serve their local chapter members this school year.
