The Science of Baking Camp 

The Science of Baking Camp is an immersive, hands-on experience where students explore the chemistry and creativity behind baking. Over two days, participants will dive into the “why” behind baking success. They will learn how different leavening agents work, experiment with yeast doughs, test flavor and texture reactions, and bake everything from scones to soufflés.
This camp combines Family & Consumer Sciences education with food science exploration, encouraging students to apply STEM concepts in the kitchen while developing teamwork, leadership, and culinary confidence.
