Chapter - Ridgeland High School

Ridgeland High School’s FCCLA chapter recently made a significant impact in its local community by volunteering at the Rossville Elementary School’s Family Data Night. Intending to strengthen family involvement in education, six dedicated chapter members helped facilitate engaging, hands-on activities provided by the Created Discovery Museum. Other chapter members volunteered to help create a memorable night, by assisting families in completing fun and educational challenges.

Not only were their efforts able to create an unforgettable experience for over 500 attendees, but Ridgeland High School FCCLA members were able to reach 50,000 people through various social media pages and platforms. Members took pride in their ability to give back to the community, expressing the importance of family involvement in education while also demonstrating the values of leadership and service. By volunteering at Family Data Night, they not only supported local families but also reinforced the mission of FCCLA- helping students develop skills for life through career preparation, community service, and family engagement.
